Stop Security Center from whinging


Security Center, which was introduced with Service Pack 2 and is
still very much present in Service Pack 3, likes to tell you all the
time that your system is insecure, especially if you've got Automatic
Updates turned off, or a firewall or antivirus running that it doesn't
recognise. To silence its complaints:

1. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Security Center
   
2. On the left-hand side of the application click the link that says Change the way Security Center alerts me
   
3. Uncheck the item(s) causing you grief — either Firewall, Automatic Updates, Virus Protection — then click OK

mas madali to kesa sa ginawa ko pero supplement ko na din sa ginawa ni spiritbreaker (mas mahirap pero nice to know na din).

1. go to start
2. run
3. type in services.msc
4. select security center by double clicking
5. on start up type select disable.

pros and cons: not only will the notification stop, it will enhance system boot up speed during start up because it will not be included in the list of processes. downside is, you have to be 100% sure that you trust your antivirus and its firewall features.
