ung pinaka malakas ang impact sa performance is ung alienware. pero ung iba, hnd nmn gaano kasi themes lang papalitan. depende pa dn sa maintenance.

if you will use inspirat, that of windows vista, you will notice no change. sort of skin lang xa, ang magpapabagal lang nmn tlga ng system mo is mga add ons. sidebar, dock, ung custom na clock, etc.

kahit ung alienguise gamitin mo, hnd xa ganun kalakas ang impact. you have to tweak ur system for this...

yup. halos wala dn if kng ganyan specs mo. object dock ang mejo mgpapagal sau, but for this, u have to place ur most items here then remove desktop. like i said in my previous post, every item placed in the desktop consumes memory, thus, slowing the system. when i was still using alienguise, i have to tweak my registry for this and remove those that i know i won't need therefore, minimal impact.

same process lang din na sinabi ko sa tune up utilities. i tried it and it worked on me well, (screen shot to follow).

you can use tune up utilities na binigay ko and follow the instructions there.

or if you want, you can download style XP, but this one is not free. meh trial lang xa hehe then need mo mg register. so i'd advise yung sakin na lang gamitin mo.

ito na xa as is, hindi lang sakto ang theme ko sa FF kasi galing ako sa red theme.

now after downloading this, you will see other folders like fonts, cursors etc. again you can do the easy way and try a third party prog like style XP for this one or you can do it manually by placing the files to their corresponding folders in system32.

sabagay. it all depends upon a person's preference. me personally, edited lahat ng nasa laptop ko, from themes to start up to booth to sounds. because it is only in this manner that the system will really have minimal to almost no impact (although it is risky because of registry tweaking)on the alterations placed on it.

changing the look of your cursors and folders will affect the system although it would and may go unnoticed. me personally, i go for performance over style kaya simple lang gamit ko, then disabled dn yung background and desktop icons. hehe, kadalasan kasi sabay sabay ang photoshop, firefox, YM, and isang game application.
